A productive Saturday.

Good evening.

Well, today was a very productive day for me as I got to sit down early and paint and build until early evening.

Below are the spoils of the day.

First off we have two 15mm Havelock battle suits from the Ion age. These were a Christmas gift from a friend. I was very happy to receive them. I had been wanting to add these to my Ion Age collection.
I did not put any of the many weapons on them yet, but I wanted to show them off. I have them painted up in the colors of the Prydian army and the Yordists (green &yellow) -- these are the two that will be fighting on the table as soon as I can find the time.

Second is the INQ28 I have put together. These are a ragtag bunch who are intent on bringing down chaos. I was inspired to put them together by a friend of mine whose blog reminded me how  refreshing it can be to take bits and bobs and come up with something new.  One day they may be able to take on the chaos that is brought into the universe.

Third is the Space Wolves I have been trying to get done for years. This is the first Blood Claw pack out of the five that have been sitting about waiting for paint. I was inspired by Eve Hallow's Grey Ghosts to get the wolves done. It has been a bit of a challenge to get them done, I wanted to go with the old 2nd-edition paint scheme.

Fourth is a Glorious Revolution-era project a friend and I are working on together. These figures are the start of a big build and paint project. Here are shown some of the cavalry and artillery I have built, many more to go on this. This project is very exciting to me as I like the musket era, plus the uniforms are fun for me to paint.

Hope you enjoyed seeing what I am working on.

  1. Great post Bob. Your INQ28 warband look awesome. Perhaps someday soon they will meet Inquisitor Van Dortte and put an end to his radical ways...
The Wolves look great too. Loving the old school colour scheme.
    Keep up the good work.
